On 22 March 2016, Elizabeth Devine presented a paper entitled ‘Discrimination and Adverse Action’ to a seminar produced by Legalwise Seminars and held in Sydney.  In presenting the paper, Elizabeth discussed the discrimination and general protection provisions of the Fair Work Act 2009,  outlined a number of case studies in which unlawful discrimination has been alleged and provided guidance on how to minimise the risk of being found to be in breach.
